Established in 2019, Thuso Bathong Uniforms is a community based initiative that has seen the youth from Potch come together in efforts to present the North West with an alternative to school uniforms driven by very very low and affordable prices on the highest quality fabrics sourced directly from suppliers.
We have a factory that employs 14 professional men and women trusted with maintaining the very same quality output as well as a professional presentation of all garments from tracksuits, tunics, shirts, trousers, jerseys, masks, hats, pullovers and all other school uniform requirements. Thuso Bathong has turned 3 community home garages around Ikageng in Potchesftroom into easily accessible walk in school uniform shops as part of our Kasi Economy initiatives. These have sparked enough interests to open more as they allow for community members to also participate in this progressive initiative.
Thuso Bathong’s 6 Directors are aged between 21 Years and 33 Years old with 4 Females and 2 Males. These young and passionately driven men and women started this initiative with funds collected from family members, personal savings and to date have roped in the support of a local security business to expand their reach to all of Potchefstroom.
Thuso Bathong, prides itself with quality products that are produced from scratch and embroidered with pride. We have plans to grow our factory capacity with the intention to participate in the South African economy whilst creating sustainable jobs for our Township.
To be a household name in the supply of school uniforms inspired by low low prices and affordability in all communities of South Africa.
To assist low income earners in our communities and their children to afford, wear and showcase their grooming standards with dignity and pride through cost effective access to various school uniforms produced locally.
